Q: Does the wrap protect or hurt my vehicles paint job?
A: It protects from Sun Damage, Oxidation and non severe weather. It will also protect your paint against minor scratches. The vinyl is only so durable though and most incidents that would scratch your paint will also scratch a vehicle wrap. The wrap vinyl we use is made specifically for vehicles and will not harm your paint.
Q: How do I wash my wrapped vehicle?
A: Wash it like you would wash your vehicle regularly. With some type of sponge soap and water. We recommend car wash or dish soap with a non abrasive sponge or washing glove. Do keep it away from car washes. Most car washes will not harm your wrap but if their brushes are holding onto any dirt you will not know until its too late.
Q: Can I take my wrap through a car wash?
A: We do not recommend taking your vehicle wrap through a car wash unless it uses water and soap only. No brushes.
Q: Can I wax my vehicle wrap?
A: You may only wax a wrap with a gloss finish. Matte and Satin wraps can not be waxed.
Q: Will the wrap damage my paint?
A: No. The 3M & Avery wrap films we use are built specifically for use on vehicles. The wrap will leave some adhesive that is easily removed with proper cleaning solvents.
Q: With some paint showing and some covered by vinyl, what will that do to my paint over time?
A: It protects against Oxidation and non severe weather. It will also protect your paint against minor scratches. Most incidents that would scratch your paint will also scratch a vehicle wrap.
Q: Will a partial wrap last as long as a full wrap?
A: Yes we use the same 3M Wrap Vinyl on all of the vehicle we install prints on. Not to mention Die Cut Vinyl lasts even longer.
Q: Isn't DieCut vinyl a thing of the past?
A: Not at all. We can do some cool things with die cut vinyl. Die cut vinyl also comes in metallics, chromes, metal textures and many other designs that are not available in printed solutions.
Q: Can you put die cut vinyl on top of printed vinyl?
A: Yes. Almost every wrap we do has some sort of die cut lettering. We can also do some cool things with reflective or textured vinyls to bring your wrap to life.
Q: Will the vinyl match my paint?
A: If the vinyl is not a spot on match we can usually find something very close.
Q: Will the vinyl last as long as paint?
A: No. It will last about 2 or 3 years facing horizontally. It is a band aid. But a good one while it lasts. Panels that are not facing the sky will last up to 8 years.
